Why is it important to get an accurate measure? What happens if I give a wrong PD value?
Pupillary distance is used to adjust your lenses to the frame and according to your eyes position.
This data is very important, it is used to correctly center the lenses on the frame.
If the centering is not right, inconveniences are inevitable: eyestrain, headaches, muscular pains, migraines and blurry vision.
Low correction lenses can accept slight tolerances.
For small correction of unifocal lenses, the PD value impact is low until 3mm deviation.
Having a high prescription and the wrong PD can make these symptoms worse, so we recommend getting the most accurate measure.
"PD Measurement" solution allows you to obtain an accurate mesure to ensure a proper fit
